Since 1960 over $1 million has been raised by AAUW Atlanta Bookfair, an all-volunteer not-for-profit event and distributed as scholarships and programs for girls and women. Your books never to go a landfill!

Because of your book donations, your patronage at the AAUW Atlanta Bookfair and because of the thousands of hours worked year-round by our volunteers, we want to say, “Thank you.”
In 2012:
- Thank you from two graduate students who each received a $3,000 scholarship for the 2012-13 academic year. One student is pursuing her Master of Arts in Teaching at Reinhardt College, Alpharetta campus and the second is working on her Masters of Business Administration at Georgia State University, Alpharetta campus.
- Thank you from an Agnes Scott College student who received a stipend of $1,000 to attend the National Conference for College Women Student Leaders (organized by national AAUW) at the University of Maryland.
- Thank you from Aparna Rallabandi, who used her $2,500 scholarship in the 2011-12 year to complete her Masters in Business Administration in May 2012.
In 2011:
- Thank you from two female students at Reinhardt College, Alpharetta Campus and/or Georgia State University, North Campus each of whom received a $2,500 scholarship for the 2011-2012 academic school year.
- Thank you from the students and faculty at FA Elementary school for the $300 donation which was used to purchase one First Lego League (FLL) robot kit and is used in the charter school’s FLL and junior FLL after-school programs.
- Thank you from the graduate student at Reinhardt College, Alpharetta Campus who received $500 at attend AAUW’s National Conference for College Women Student Leaders Program.
